At Cober Hernia, we pray for our patients and ask God's blessing over them. We believe that each person is made in the image of God and holds immense worth in His eyes.
While we do not routinely discuss religion or spiritual matters in-person, we offer here some resources online in the hope that they can be helpful.
Community is essential to personal health and well-being. Here are some local churches and faith communities, some of which regularly pray for the well-being of our patients in general and contribute encouraging pamphlets for our patients.
Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Pierce
Family Church (multiple locations)
Christ Fellowship (multiple locations)
Generation Church in Jupiter
Calvary Church in Jupiter
Jupiter Seventh-Day Adventist Church
This congregation routinely promotes health, well-being, and plant-based community weekly potluck meals.
Harvest Community Church in Jupiter
Pastor Marvin's podcast: Apple, Spotify, YouTube
Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Juno Beach
We advocate healthy lifestyles (high quality diets + regular exercise) and an emphasis on family and being outdoors. Stress management is facilitated by daily prayer, quiet, and Bible reading.
Sometimes it is hard to find words to pray. Here are some prayer liturgies for those suffering from physical ailments. Here is a link to Pastor Bode's devotions.

Lord,
I ask for Your blessing,
and may I feel Your peace right now.
Help me to trust in Your plan for my health and well-being,
even as You have provided us with the Great Physician in Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Here are some prayer liturgies for providers who seek to invite God's blessing on their work. Some providers choose to offer prayer to patients. Others take a moment to pause before seeing patients and silently offer these prayers and seek to take a moment to pause and remember that the patient they are about to see is a person of great worth who has suffered pain. Regardless of the approach, we always advocate a posture of humility, respect, and meek gentleness. Click here for a printable version.
